Bright UFO over Bermuda in 1962

Summary

In August 1962, witnesses in Bermuda observed an unusual aerial phenomenon. A bright object, shaped like an egg, appeared above a radio tower, remaining stationary for 10 to 15 minutes before disappearing rapidly. Observers, including a radio announcer and the station owner, saw the object without optical aids, in daylight and with no clouds. The object showed no reflections and did not appear to be a balloon, aircraft, or known astronomical phenomenon.

The official investigation failed to identify the object, initially thought to be the size of a football. However, it was later corrected to the size of an aspirin. Witnesses agreed the object did not move conventionally and did not show characteristics of birds or aircraft. Despite multiple analyses, the case remains unexplained.
