In August 1962, a lookout in the National Forest near Harvey Mountain spotted twelve parachute-like objects falling to the ground over a 5 to 7-mile radius. Pieces of white tinfoil were recovered and sent for analysis. The report suggests it might have been a chaff drop, a material used to confuse radar systems.
