🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1962, a witness in Columbus, Ohio, reported two aerial objects. One was traveling eastward while blinking on and off, while the other moved northeast. The sighting was recorded as a ground visual observation, without photos or radar. Investigators concluded it was likely an aircraft, though other possibilities weren't ruled out.
The report notes that the ECHO I satellite wasn't visible in Columbus at that time, eliminating that explanation. However, the data was insufficient for a definitive evaluation. This case highlights how sightings often remain unresolved, leaving room for speculation and curiosity.
