Summary

In September 1962, a witness in Chicago reported seeing an object resembling a blimp with blinking lights. The report, part of Project 10073, described a round object with lights that blinked and rotated. Although the observer compared it to a balloon or aircraft, insufficient data was collected to make a conclusive evaluation. The object was seen for 2½ minutes, disappearing to the east. The lack of precise information such as speed or trajectory complicated the analysis.

Another sighting recorded on September 27 described a bright object with rays moving slowly northeast. However, again, there was not enough data to identify it.
