🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1962, near Fort Bragg, South Carolina, an unidentified flying object was reported. A pilot and five others observed it during a night exercise. The object, described as a bright hemispherical light, moved in a parabolic descent. Initially thought to possibly be a balloon, its unusual behavior—such as accelerating and elongating its tail—raised doubts.
The official report did not reach a clear conclusion, though other conventional explanations were ruled out. The observation lasted about four minutes, and the object suddenly disappeared. Despite the lack of conclusive data, the multiple witnesses and detailed description make this an intriguing case in the UFO file.
