Unidentified UFO seen near Biloxi in 1962

Summary

In September 1962, a witness in the Gulf of Mexico reported a reddish object, roughly the size of a full moon. The sighting, described by a fisherman and his crew, involved a phenomenon moving slowly eastward, with no typical behavior of a balloon, aircraft or astronomical body.
