🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1962, a cadet in Fork Union, Virginia, observed a red object with blinking lights in the sky. From his room, he saw a fixed red light on top and two flashing red lights on the bottom. The object remained stationary for a moment before disappearing rapidly. Although five people witnessed it, the lack of precise details such as the direction of movement or the exact duration of the object's stillness led the official evaluation to conclude that the data was insufficient. The cadet's letter, signed with a "this is no hoax," adds a serious tone to an observation that didn't match conventional objects like helicopters, jets, or balloons.
