🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1962, two observers in Sidney, Ohio, reported a luminous object traveling eastward in a straight line. The object, described as a bright point similar to a star, moved faster than a satellite and showed no blinking or sound. Although an aircraft was considered, the data was inconclusive. The sighting was documented by the U.S. Air Force with technical forms and testimonies. One observer was a teenager camping with a friend. Both agreed on the object's description and trajectory. Despite mentioning a possible aircraft, the object's constant brightness and speed didn't match typical characteristics. The report concluded it could be a distant aircraft, but other possibilities weren't ruled out.
