Summary

In September 1962, a 17-year-old in Brooklyn, New York, observed a cylindrical object flying without wings, exhaust, or noise. The object had flashing red and white lights at its ends and was moving westward. Although no photos were taken, the witness provided a detailed description of its shape and behavior. The Air Force considered it likely an aircraft due to the flashing lights, but the possibility of an unidentified object was not ruled out.

The report, filed under Project 10073, lacked radar or photographic evidence, limiting further evaluation. Despite the lack of additional data, the witness's account was enough for the case to be archived and shared with several Air Force and NORAD units. This incident remains an unresolved mystery, with a description that doesn't easily fit conventional categories.
