🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1962, a teenager in Philadelphia observed a white object in the sky that moved with a speed and maneuverability that did not seem compatible with a conventional aircraft. The object appeared as a bright light, similar to a star, and moved from the southeast to the northeast before disappearing in a matter of seconds. The witness, along with others, initially thought it could be an airplane or a meteor, but soon dismissed these options due to the object's curved trajectory and speed. Although the official report classifies it as a probable aircraft, the detailed description suggests the observer experienced something unusual.
The report includes testimonies from multiple people and a precise description of the weather conditions, such as a clear sky. The young witness, who was interested in science, provided detailed information about the object's appearance, direction, and behavior. Despite the military evaluating it as a probable aircraft, the object's description and movement do not easily fit into conventional categories. This case is an example of how civilian testimonies can provide valuable information about unidentified aerial phenomena.
