🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1962, a civilian aircraft spotted a silver object falling from the sky above Baldwin, North Dakota. The pilot, whose name was not recorded, observed the object during daylight and reported it descending without touching the ground before disappearing. This sighting was relayed to Bismarck air traffic control, but no direct contact with the witness was made.
The lack of detailed information and the inability to confirm the object's nature led to the conclusion that the data was insufficient for evaluation. Although possible explanations such as weather balloons or aircraft were considered, there were no radar contacts or photographs, which limited the investigation. The case remains unsolved, adding a touch of mystery to this unusual aerial event.
