🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1962, an engineering student at the University of Virginia observed a luminous object in the sky displaying unusual behavior. The object, yellowish in color similar to the planet Saturn, was moving in a straight line at a constant speed. Suddenly, it stopped for 30 seconds and then disappeared within four seconds. The witness, using binoculars, confirmed it was not a known satellite or a common astronomical phenomenon. The detailed description and precise location of the event generated interest in evaluating the observation.
NASA and other entities considered the possibility that it was a satellite like ECHO, but could not confirm it. The official report did not reach definitive conclusions, noting that there was not enough information to rule out any hypothesis. The witness, convinced it was not a natural or known artificial phenomenon, submitted his testimony with detailed maps and routes. This case remains an unresolved mystery, added to the file of unexplained UFO sightings.
