🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1962, a ground observer reported a blue-green object descending toward the horizon. The sighting occurred in the Pacific near coordinates 37.12N 173.12W. The report, filed under Project 10073, included no photos or radar data, and the observation duration was not recorded. Despite being a single object, the available information was limited.
Investigators concluded that there was insufficient data to evaluate the object's nature. Possibilities such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena were dismissed. This case, like many from that era, reflects the lack of clarity in UFO reports and the difficulty in classifying events with few details.
