🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1962, several aircrews reported seeing green rectangular objects over Neosho, Missouri. Observers included military, TWA, and logistics personnel. The objects appeared one degree above the horizon and faded with the dawn light. The sighting lasted eleven minutes and was recorded as an air-visual observation.
The official conclusion attributed the event to a munitions test conducted at the Neosho Depot. Authorities from Eglin AFB confirmed this explanation. Although no photos were taken, the report details that multiple aircraft observed between one and four objects. This case is an example of how military activities can be mistaken for unexplained phenomena, especially in high-sensitivity contexts.
