In November 1962, a worker in Woburn, Massachusetts, observed an egg-shaped object for 9 minutes during daylight. The witness, Charles Kirk, described a golden object with a black band at the bottom and a protrusion that extended and retracted with a clicking sound. Despite being in bright daylight, the object was brighter than the sun and remained stationary before vanishing suddenly. Kirk reported a strange feeling after the encounter.
The description includes surprising details: a beam of light illuminating the building where he worked, and a slight increase in radiation detected later with a Geiger counter. Although the Air Force concluded it might be psychological, the testimony and data suggest an unusual experience. No other witnesses or additional reports were recorded in the area, adding mystery to the case.
