🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1962, a bright diamond-shaped object was observed for 25 minutes near Klamath, California. It was described as creamy white with a blue haze and a stream of light or vapor extending more than half its length. Both a civilian observer and a military officer confirmed the presence of the object, which displayed erratic behavior, including hovering. Initially thought to be an aircraft, the data suggested a balloon. The confusion increased when the object disappeared in the same area where it was last seen, unusual for a balloon. A USAF pilot attempted to locate it without success, adding mystery to the case.
