🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1962, a Navy crew reported observing bright objects falling through a cloud layer at around 16,000 feet, heading toward the sea at position 20°21N 174°30W. Although the duration of the event was not recorded, possible explanations such as flares, meteors, or decay were considered. However, the information provided was insufficient for a conclusive analysis.
The report, classified under AF IN 32741, was shared with multiple departments and agencies, including the Army, the CIA, the NSA, and the Pentagon. Despite the widespread distribution of the document, no definitive evaluation was reached. This case is part of the many unresolved sightings under Project 10073, a program investigating unidentified aerial phenomena.
