🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1962 report describes a bright object observed at Robins AFB, Georgia. The witness, a civilian technician, saw a bright green light with a lit tail about a foot long. The object was moving rapidly toward the southwest, descending between 45 and 60 degrees. Although the sighting lasted only two seconds, it generated enough interest for authorities to investigate. The most likely hypothesis pointed to a meteor, but flickering street lights were also considered. The investigation concluded there was no conclusive evidence of an unidentified phenomenon.
