🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Akron, Ohio, reported an unidentified flying object that remained stationary in the sky for over 20 minutes. The object displayed dim yellow lights that blinked on and off slowly, described as a ring of light. The witness, along with three others, observed it from a car while heading toward the location. Upon returning home, his wife confirmed she had seen the same object from their house. The object would disappear briefly, turning red before reappearing. Despite multiple sightings, the phenomenon could not be identified.
Another report a few days later in the same area described a bright object that split into three parts and moved southward. It was speculated to be a British aircraft, though no physical evidence was found. The case was deemed insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
