Between July and October 1952, numerous witnesses in Morocco, Spain, and Africa reported unidentified flying objects with unusual shapes and behaviors. In Marrakech, luminous disks were seen moving rapidly and emitting bursts of light. In another case, a group of five people in Moulay Bousselham observed an object with a red center and blue edges traveling at high speed. These sightings, recorded in local newspapers, included detailed descriptions of objects that did not resemble conventional aircraft. In Algeria, a railroad agent saw a fireball that suddenly stopped and emitted a bright red glow. In Spain, professors in Mallorca and witnesses in Puerto Real reported oval, luminous objects performing impossible maneuvers. These accounts, though not officially evaluated, reflect growing concern over unexplained aerial phenomena.
The sightings also included testimonies from meteorologists in South Africa, who observed spherical objects resembling weather balloons but at much higher altitudes. In Casablanca, a pilot described a close encounter with an object moving at high speed without making noise. In several instances, observers reported bright lights, cigar-shaped objects, and luminous trails, sparking debates about whether they were meteors or unknown phenomena. Despite doubts, the testimonies share key details such as speed, shape, and unusual behavior. These events, documented in local media, highlight the curiosity and concern over the unexplained in the region during that time.
