In March 1963, a Pan Am flight crew reported a bright rectangular object. The pilot, co-pilot, and engineer confirmed seeing the same object, described as three times brighter than Venus. It appeared 73 degrees to the left of the aircraft's nose, traveled in a straight line with a slight curve, and vanished suddenly.
