🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1963, a witness in Crestview, Florida, observed two delta-wing shaped objects flying in a straight line from east to west. They were described as the size of a pea at arm's length and grey in color, lighter than the dark sky background. Although resembling an F-102 in shape, no exhaust or noise was detected. The sighting lasted 2-3 seconds, limiting identification.
The night was clear with no clouds, and the witness, a 23-year-old instrumentation mechanic, didn't report the incident until a month later. Despite investigations, no explanation was found. The official conclusion was birds, though the account and description hint at something more unusual.
