🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1963, a witness in Moorcroft, Wyoming, reported a flying object that appeared as a fixed star in the sky, moving quickly toward the southeast. The sighting lasted 15 minutes and was classified as "Echo I," a satellite passing over the region. Although initially considered possibly a balloon or weather device, the data matched the trajectory of a known satellite. The official evaluation concluded it was not a conventional UFO but an identifiable space phenomenon. This case is an example of how night sightings can be mistaken for artificial objects in orbit.
