🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1963, a U.S. Air Force aircraft reported a luminous phenomenon in the Pacific. From an altitude of 37,000 feet, observers saw a greenish-white flare that burst into two orange trails. The object moved east to west with a downward trajectory of 45 degrees. Although the exact duration of the sighting wasn't recorded, the data matched the behavior of a flare or rocket.
The exact location of the event was 46.13N 173.53W, and the report was classified as a "flare." Although other possibilities like balloons or aircraft were considered, the final description pointed to a conventional explanation. However, the precise shape and unusual trajectory of the object remain a mystery.
