🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1963, a witness in Pequannock, New Jersey, reported seeing what she described as "pink wheels." She observed at least four identical objects appearing at half-minute intervals. Each object was visible for only one second, moving rapidly from east to west with no trail or sound. The witness, who had military and aircraft recognition experience, stated they did not appear to be balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena. The official report concluded the sighting as "unidentified," though it suggested the objects might be internal reflections. Despite the detailed account, there was insufficient data to determine their nature.
The witness, a woman with a background in military service and aircraft recognition, submitted a rough sketch of the objects. Although no artificial lights or simultaneous sightings were found, she insisted the objects were real and not hallucinations. The Air Force classified the case as "unidentified," finding no threat or scientific value. Despite the clarity of the description, the case remains unsolved, like many from that era.
