🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1963, a sailor in the Gulf of Mexico observed a bright object moving eastward. The sighting described an object as luminous as the star Polaris, seen for six minutes before disappearing into the clouds. The NASA satellite ECHO I was in orbit at that time and its position matched the observation. Although it might initially seem like an unexplained phenomenon, the most plausible explanation points to a satellite observation. This case is an example of how scientific data can help solve seemingly inexplicable mysteries.
