🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1963, a citizen of Texarkana, Texas, reported observing two objects at high altitude in the night sky. They described round shapes with a white to orange color, visible for half an hour. Initially seen at 45 degrees elevation due north, the objects changed direction and disappeared to the north. Although the witness did not take photos, the report classified by Project 10073 considered several possibilities, including weather balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena. Ultimately, analysts concluded it was more likely a weather balloon, given the duration of the sighting and available wind data.
