🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Von Ormy, Texas, spotted a round object resembling a star in the bright daylight sky. The object was observed for 15 minutes, moving from east to west, and disappeared as it approached the sun. A rifle scope was used but failed to reveal any details. No radar contact was made, which initially raised questions. However, it was later confirmed that the object was a weather balloon released by the U.S. Weather Bureau in San Antonio. This case illustrates how unidentified aerial phenomena can have natural explanations, even when they appear mysterious at first.
