Tear drop shaped object near Las Vegas

Summary

In July 1963, a tear drop-shaped object was observed 40 miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada. Qualified military personnel witnessed a blue-white object with a five-mile-long contrail. The object appeared to grow in size as it descended along an angled trajectory. The contrail remained visible for ten minutes after the object disintegrated. Although a missile was considered a possibility, no definitive confirmation was made.

The report notes that a missile launch from Point Arguello coincided with the object's appearance. However, the data was insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
