🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1963, a witness at Camp Kapitachouane, Quebec, reported an unidentified flying object moving rapidly northward. The object was described as resembling a satellite such as ECHO, but with significantly greater speed. Although several possibilities were considered, including balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena, no definitive conclusion was reached. Investigators suggested it could have been a misinterpretation of an aircraft in flight, possibly a high-altitude jet.
The official report noted insufficient data for a conclusive evaluation. Additionally, a request for UFO information was sent to the U.S. Air Force, indicating the case was treated with some seriousness. While no conclusive evidence was found, the case remains an example of how UFO sightings were documented and analyzed during that era.
