🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1963, a luminous object was sighted in Miland, California, for approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Two witnesses described it as a yellow and orange point of light moving from south to north, roughly 15-20 degrees west of north. It emitted no sound or trail, and its speed was faster than any aircraft known to the observers. Despite the lack of precise data on its altitude or speed, authorities concluded it could have been a conventional aircraft. There was no moon, sun, or haze, which aided the observation.
The U.S. Air Force recorded the incident on an official form, noting that there were no elements to rule out a conventional aircraft. Although no further action was taken, the report was archived for future reference. The testimony lacked photographs or radar data, limiting the analysis. However, the observers' agreement on the description added credibility to the report.
