🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1963, a witness in La Grange, Illinois, observed an extremely bright round object for 35 minutes. The object, yellow-orange in color, moved erratically, hovered, and ascended without making any noise. Although initially considered a balloon, its behavior was unusual. The witness, a teenager interested in UFOs, reported the sighting months later after reading books on the subject.
The Air Force concluded it was likely a balloon, but the testimony includes curious details, such as the object appearing cigar-shaped and reflecting light in an unusual way. The technical report includes drawings and a detailed description of the experience. Despite the official explanation, the object's unusual movement and appearance remain intriguing.
