🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1963, five FAA ground stations reported a bright object in the sky over Arcada, California. The object was described as a burning body that illuminated much of the sky, generating multiple sighting reports. Initially, possibilities such as a balloon or aircraft were considered, but later analyses ruled these out. The lack of precise data and the inability to confirm the object's nature led to tentative conclusions, including the possibility of a meteor. However, the ambiguity of the data and the absence of confirmed astronomical records left the matter unresolved.
The case was reviewed by experts from the University of Oregon and the Air Force, who sought additional information without success. Despite efforts to identify the phenomenon, no definitive conclusion was reached. This document reflects the uncertainty surrounding many UFO reports from that era, where technological limitations and lack of concrete evidence made a clear resolution difficult.
