In 1952, multiple UFO sightings were reported across Africa and Spain. From glowing spheres over Almería to unidentified objects above the Port Gentil, the accounts share common features such as speed, silence, and unusual shapes. In Andújar, a red, silent object left a bright green trail, while in Orán, numerous witnesses, including police officers and workers, reported flying saucers. These phenomena, documented in local newspapers, generated curiosity and confusion. Authorities and witnesses were unable to explain what they saw, and in some cases, the objects performed impossible maneuvers for the technology of the time.
The testimonies, though scattered, show a clear pattern of simultaneous and repeated sightings. In Gabon, a ship captain described an object that made loops and dove into the sea at high speed. In Algeria, sightings were concentrated in July and August, with descriptions including cigar-shaped, disc-like, and spherical forms. The frequency of the reports and the variety of witnesses, from ordinary citizens to officials, add credibility to the accounts. Despite investigations, no conventional explanation satisfied the questions raised by these phenomena.
