🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1963, a witness in Saudi Arabia reported a glowing object in the sky. Seen through a window, it was described as a fiery body moving slowly from northeast to south. The object, roughly the size of a tennis ball, emitted sparks and suddenly disappeared after a few seconds. Although the witness considered it a decaying satellite, investigators classified it as a meteor. The direction and duration of the flight did not match satellite decay patterns, and meteors can move at speeds consistent with the observation. The Air Force's official response confirmed this assessment, ruling out other possibilities like balloons or aircraft.
