🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1963, Brazilian newspapers reported that a large metallic object had landed in the center of the town of Conde, in Bahia. According to the account, the object left a hole in the street, but the globe remained intact. A man was seen looking up, which generated speculation about its nature. However, subsequent investigations revealed that the incident was merely a fabricated story, likely originating in Rio de Janeiro. There was no physical evidence or confirmation from witnesses on site.
U.S. military authorities, including Wright-Patterson AFB, were also involved in evaluating the case. Although several possibilities were considered, such as weather balloons or astronomical sightings, no sufficient information was found to determine the object's origin. Ultimately, it was concluded that the report lacked foundation and was simply a sensationalist story without real basis. The case was archived without further investigation.
