🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1963, a witness in West Nyack, New York, spotted a red, oval-shaped object in fog or rain. The object appeared suddenly, without sound, and disappeared behind trees. It was estimated to be about 6-7 miles away and traveling at 500 mph. The sighting lasted only five seconds, but the witness left a clear description of the object.
The official evaluation did not reach a definitive conclusion, though a meteor was considered possible. However, visibility conditions and the witness's estimates introduced uncertainty. The report includes sketches showing the object's path and position in the sky. Despite the lack of photos or radar, the civilian testimony provides a detailed account that remains intriguing for UFO researchers.
