🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1963, a civilian witness reported a very bright fireball over Pennsylvania. The event occurred on the 27th at 6:05 p.m., and although two objects were mentioned, no photos or radar data were taken. The initial report did not classify it as a UFO, but rather as a possible meteorological phenomenon.
The University of Pennsylvania requested additional data to calculate the trajectories and orbits of the objects. The Air Force responded that they had no reports on the phenomenon at that time, but promised to forward any data if more reports arrived later. Interestingly, they also mentioned other fireball sightings in Arizona, suggesting these events were more common than assumed.
