🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1963, a couple in Snowmass, Colorado, observed strange objects in the sky. The objects moved quickly, stopped, and then moved slowly. Two of them remained still, one partially hidden in the clouds and the other clearly visible. The observation lasted at least an hour, from sunset until it was too dark to see. Through binoculars, one of the objects appeared to have a black and red end. A neighbor five miles away also reported seeing several similar objects.
The U.S. Air Force responded to the couple's call and sent them a form to gather more information. Although no response was received, investigators concluded the objects were likely balloons. However, the official report did not completely rule out the possibility of aircraft or even unidentified objects. The detailed description and multiple eyewitness accounts add a touch of mystery to this case, which remains without a definitive explanation.
