🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1964, a 15-year-old in Marshall, Michigan, observed a light that looked like a star but changed colors between red and white. The object moved west at an elevation of 84 degrees and disappeared in a flash. The official report classified it as an astronomical body, though the witness doubted this explanation. The sighting lasted 45 minutes, raising questions about whether it could have been a star.
The young witness provided a detailed and sincere account: he stated it couldn’t have been a balloon due to wind conditions, nor a satellite, as those don’t move west. While the official report labeled it as astronomical, the account suggests something unusual occurred. The lack of precise data and the object's movement raised doubts, making this case one that remains unexplained.
