🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1964, an observer in Culver City, Los Angeles, spotted a round object making tight circular movements. The object appeared during the day at 1:20 p.m. and then moved in a southeasterly direction. Although the witness did not report the exact duration of the sighting, there were no other witnesses to confirm anything unusual. The area had normal air traffic, which made identification difficult.
Investigators considered the possibility of a balloon but ruled it out due to the object's rapid circular motion. They eventually concluded it was likely an aircraft, though no further investigation was conducted. The report was submitted with a delay, limiting the chance to gather more details. Regardless, the case did not generate alarm or follow-up.
