Summary

In February 1964, an observer in the Philippines reported a planet-like object of first magnitude brightness moving in an easterly orbit. The object appeared around 01:00 and was seen for 13 minutes before disappearing behind clouds. The detailed description and observed trajectory led investigators to consider the possibility of a satellite, as there were no conflicting data. Although no photos were taken, the evaluation concluded it was not a balloon, aircraft, or known astronomical phenomenon.

The report, classified under Project 10073, was submitted by the U.S. Navy and evaluated as "another satellite."
