🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1964, a witness in Baltimore saw strange objects on a television screen during the early morning hours. While watching a program, they noticed shapes resembling flying saucers and spacecraft. The observer even described a mother ship and suggested the craft used atomic or electromagnetic power. However, investigators concluded it was electronic interference. The witness's imagination turned the distortions into alien objects. The official report suggested that lack of precise data and psychological suggestion were key factors.
The case was reviewed by the Air Force, which responded to the witness with a letter explaining that the exact cause couldn't be determined, but it was likely electrical interference. An informational sheet on UFOs was sent to the witness, closing the case without further investigation. Although the witness took photos, they weren't included in the official report.
