🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1964, a witness in Manassas, Virginia, observed an unidentified aerial phenomenon at dusk. They saw three objects forming a triangle, with erratic movement and an appearance similar to a bright meteor. One of the objects separated and disappeared like a red spark. The report suggests it could be a radiosonde, though other explanations are not ruled out.
The analysis includes meteorological data and wind directions matching the observed behavior. Despite this, the report does not conclude definitively, leaving open the possibility that it was not a weather balloon.
