🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1964, a witness in Mosinee, Wisconsin, observed a bright object rapidly moving across the sky. They described it as a small, white star traveling in a straight line from north to south. The sighting lasted about five minutes and the object disappeared into the distance. Although the report was submitted five days later, investigators concluded it was likely a visible satellite or a shooting star.
The official report mentions that on the same date, the ECHO II satellite passed over Wisconsin, supporting the possibility that the observed object was a satellite. Despite the evaluation, the exact nature of the sighting remains a point of interest for UFO researchers.
