🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1964, a witness in Las Vegas described a formation of aerial objects moving like a swarm of bees. These were between 12 and 15 elongated, silver objects, roughly the size of a dime held at arm's length. The observer, an engineer from Westinghouse, watched as the objects flew south for about 30 seconds before suddenly reversing course toward the north. The formation remained stable throughout the flight, drawing attention due to its coordinated movement.
Although the official report concluded the sighting could be linked to bird flight, the description of the movement pattern and the appearance of the objects caused some confusion. The report did not reach a definitive conclusion, as the cause of the sighting could not be accurately determined. This experience, though brief, was recorded in an official Air Force document and was considered closed without further data.
