🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1964, two witnesses in Savannah, Georgia, reported the sighting of two distinct aerial objects. The first was described as resembling a blimp, with a gondola-like shape and the size of a silver dollar, featuring four to five windows with visible lights. One witness noted it appeared to have swept-back wings like a jet. The second object was diamond-shaped, with a bright central light and four smaller lights arranged in formation. Both objects moved silently at estimated speeds of 80-85 mph and 130 mph. The witnesses, including an aeronautical engineer and former military personnel, could not identify them as conventional objects.
The official investigation found no conventional explanations such as aircraft, balloons, or astronomical phenomena. Civil and military tower operators reported no unusual activity at the time of the sightings. Despite the credibility of the witnesses and detailed descriptions, the case remains unexplained. This document, part of Project 10073, reflects one of many unresolved UFO sightings from the 1960s.
