🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian reported in 1961 the observation of a luminous object that remained in the sky for one and a half hours. The witness described a steady light resembling a glowing cloud with a fuzzy appearance. The object's position in the northwest sky caused some confusion, as it was initially thought to be a star or the planet Venus. However, after analyzing its location and brightness, researchers concluded it was likely Venus. The sighting was recorded by the U.S. Air Force as part of an effort to gather information on unidentified aerial phenomena.
