🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian in Outlook, Montana, reported in May 1964 an object that initially appeared like a star. The object was moving from east to west, but unlike a shooting star, it stopped and began moving back and forth several times before disappearing. The sighting lacked a duration and other details necessary to identify the object with certainty. Investigators considered the possibility that it was Venus, but the data was insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
The lack of detailed information and the inability to verify the witness's reliability led to the conclusion that the object's nature could not be determined. Like many other cases from that era, this one was filed without a clear explanation, leaving open the possibility that it was an astronomical phenomenon, a balloon, or even an unidentified event.
