🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian witness in Kettering, Ohio, reported a circular, bright object on May 11, 1964. The phenomenon was observed for 2 to 3 minutes and described as brighter than stars, with sharp edges and a smooth movement toward the northeast. The report lacks photographs or radar data, and the witness did not mention sounds or shape changes. Although a balloon was considered, it was concluded that the object was not a conventional aircraft.
The U.S. Air Force technical form shows the witness completed a detailed questionnaire, though some answers were incomplete or illegible. Weather conditions were cloudy, limiting visibility and making a clear identification difficult. Despite questions about angular size, color, and movement, no conclusive data was obtained. The final report notes that a conventional explanation cannot be ruled out, but the object did not fit typical categories.
